I want to make a referral.
If you work for social care, health services or know of a person that could benefit from befriending then please contact the relevant organisation listed below.
To make a referral please contact the organisation providing a service nearest to where you or your client lives. Anyone can make a referral including self-referrals, family members or health and social care professionals.
All the organisations listed put checks in place and provide training and support to their befrienders whether they are paid or volunteer.
To have confidence in each organisation we are working with the Network to implement the Bradford Befriending Quality Standards and more details will follow shortly.
Some of the organisations have already achieved the NCVO Mentoring and Befriending’s Approved Provider Standard
They are:
Ilkley and District Good Neighbours
Working towards:
Community Action Bradford and District
As a referring agency you can be sure that all volunteers have had DBS checks, references and appropriate training.
